We are writing to thank you for the two great days of touring last week.  You fit so much into each day and truly exceeded our expectations. You were both professional and kind. Both days were packed with all the places we had requested as well as extra sites like Lacock, Avebury, Broadway Tower and Blenheim Palace.  We returned home with hundreds of pictures to remember our week.  Your commentary was informative and we especially enjoyed the unusual stories (such as the shark in the roof). We would highly recommend your day tours to anyone wanting a personal and unique service.

Thanks again,

“Wonderful Day Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2015

We are a family of four that booked with David's Day Tours for a day trip to Oxford and the Cotswolds. We were extremely happy with our choice of going with this tour company. From the start, the booking was very easy. We had booked well in advance, with a small deposit given upon booking. On the day of the tour, we were picked up at our hotel at the time agreed upon and immediately felt comfortable with David. He answered all our questions and the conversation was easy. We stopped in Oxford first and were able to walk around and see what we wanted at our leisure. David provides you with a mobile phone that makes it very easy to reach him when you are ready to get picked up to go to the next excursion. The Cotswolds were beautiful and he suggested areas that he thought we would be more interested in. I would highly consider taking this tour and a day trip to the Cotswolds. David was very pleasant and knowledgeable, which made the trip a wonderful experience. I would definitely book with David again on any return trips to England.

“Excellent two day trip to Cotswolds, Bath, Stonehenge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2014

I found David on TripAdvisor and contacted him early on about visiting the villages of the Cotswolds, Stonehenge, Oxford and Bath on Sept. 8 and 9. He was prompt when he picked us up at our hotel in London and very informative on things London as we headed out of the city. We found him to be very professional and informative and recommend him highly. We did a 2-day trip with him, as we had too many things to see in just one day (including Midsomer Murder and Harry Potter filming locations). When we would stop for lunch, he would leave us on our own and one phone call when we were finished eating or wandering around and he was right back to pick us up. We were included in all the decisions made and saw much that we had not expected to see.

A real gentleman. High recommend.

My husband I went to the UK on our first overseas trip in May and June. We planned to visit our ancestory places after doing an intensive coach tour. We booked David's Day Tours before we left Australia. David made it easy for us to do that and pay a deposit on line. As our ancestors villages were out of the way places, we asked David if he would take us on a single day trip for Cliff's ancestors, to Hellions Bumpstead. David had not been there himself, but made it seem easily accessible and allowed us plenty of time to attend the church, where Cliff's grandparents were married. David gave us time  to take photos and meet the Vicar and the warden, and wait while we were able to search church records after the service.  Nothing was rushed. David is a really friendly, patient and knowledgable person. He  then suggested places of interest for us to see. Once he discovered our interests of aircraft and vintage cars, he used the rest of the day to take us to Duxford Air Museum, and we had the added bonus of a war military display on at the time. We were able to see and go through a Concord, amazing.

Our next trip was a two day trip with David to North Huish and Lupridge farm, Bigbury and Bigbury-on-Sea, none of which David had been to himself. Again David found the places with ease, and the lovely B&B where we stayed way out in the country of Kingsbridge. After visiting and many stops for photos, visiting churches and walks through cemetries, David took us back to our hotel in London. He took us to some amazing places on the way back including the Beuileui National Car Museum, the largest in the UK. A highlight of the tour. These were lovely surprises that David suggested, that we had no idea of, and which we thoroughly enjoyed.

We would unreservedly recommend to anyone wanting a special tour, or something extra ordinary, with a really nice guy, go with David's Day Tours.

Kindest Regards,

Ruth and Cliff.

There were four of us that met Dave in March for a 10 hour tour. Dave met us at the airport and immediately made us feel welcome and important. He had a terrific agenda for everything you would want to see in London. We think Dave is terrific and you would enjoy your time with him.

My friend and I knew we wanted to see London on our layover but didn't know what we should see. David was kind enough to send us a hit list of places in London he thought would peak our interest and others that he thought we may not know about but should. We then categorized the list to: "must sees," "near the must sees," and "if we have time." He had the list and map printed and waiting for us. He was full of wonderful information about the city and what we were seeing and he stopped as many times as we wanted. He also had a clever way of keeping in touch with us so if we wandered around he could come pick us up when we were ready. What a day! And we managed to see EVERYTHING on the list. We were very satisfied and highly recommend him.

I am writing to say thank you for your driving, tour assistance and company during the 3 days that you drove us around the area. We travel often and made many travel related arrangements over the years. Few have, from our perspective, worked out as well as yours!

Our 3 generation family of six (ages 11-67) wanted to spend a day in the London countryside without the hassle of DIY or a group tour. A perfect solution was David's Day Tours. David communicated promptly by email as we planned our itinerary and organized our day to avoid the crowds and maximize time at the sites. David was a very personable, knowledgeable guide who shared a lot of stories and history with us as we drove to our destinations – Stonehenge, Avebury, Silbury Hill, Cotswold region, Lacock and Bath. So very convenient to be picked up and dropped off right at the front door of our flat. I was pleased by his reasonable pricing as well.

We were recently in London from the US and wanted to go to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath. I emailed back and forth with David and he was very polite and easy to deal with. Our day with him was one of the highlights of our trip! It was such a treat having our own driver/guide. David was very friendly and was happy to talk about life in England on the long drive and tell us about the places we were visiting. David is a gentleman, dependable, and informative. His minivan was very clean also. We also had David take us down to Dover when it was time to leave on our cruise, for the return trip to the airport, and for a stop at Leeds Castle along the way. David was always there waiting for us, we didn't need to worry about anything. Also, David's prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend David's Day Tours for any travel around England. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you David!!

We cannot thank David enough for our day trip from London to Windsor Castle, Avebury, Lacock & Stonehenge.  We were so lucky to have found David when we were researching our trip from New England to England. The four of us needed a way to get to our Inner Access tour of Stonehenge (from downtown London) & David was the tour driver that we were hoping for - someone who was from England and could give us information about the way of life in England and be flexible about where we visited. David’s e-mail communication was always prompt & the information clear, including the reasonable prices. We consider David to be a  very professional, easy-going, accommodating and knowledgeable driver. We highly recommend hiring David’s Day Tours.

We booked two separate tours with David's Day Tours.  The booking procedure was easy to understand and use, and Mr. Easey answered all our questions prior to booking.  The rates quoted for each day were reasonable and well worth the slight amount of extra money that a group tour charges.  He picked us up at our hotel at the arranged time, and provided delightful tours throughout the day.  Mr. Easey had printed information for us regarding our destinations, in addition to verbal feedback.  He was very flexible regarding our schedule and was happy to make suggestions about what to see, where to eat and what lesser known sites worth seeing were around our destination areas.  Whenever we return to the London area, we will utilize the services of David's Day Tours.  What a wonderful treat it was to have a personal guide!

I wanted to thank you for your excellent professional service you provided my daughter, Rebecca and myself. We our still talking about our wonderful 2 day trip through England to see Harry Potter filming sites. Plus the extra side trips you took us on along the way were both very beautiful and interesting. I would highly recommend your services to anyone as professional, reasonably priced, and informative of English history and tips for local money exchange, food and shopping.

Thank you very much for a really lovely trip in Cornwall. We had a great time, enjoyed ourselves and were very comfortable throughout the 4 day short break. The trip was very organised, with plenty of things to do and I also got lots of historical knowledge from you!! So not only we have seen the amazing places but getting to know about the places too. I think we made the most of it. We look forward to our next trip. Many many thanks again.
